Beaver Readers offers carefully crafted reading challenges across 10 levels and incorporates three reading level systems to ensure children progress with confidence and enthusiasm. Fun, current informational topics alongside three bespoke original storylines are at the core of this comprehensive series of 360 graded reading books for guided reading, shared and small group reading, as well as remedial reading.

As the chief editor of Beaver Readers, Wiley Blevins has taught in elementary schools both in the United States and in South America. He completed his undergraduate degree in elementary education at Bowling Green State University and his post-graduate degree in education at Harvard University. He formerly worked as the director of the Early Intervention and Phonics Programs at Scholastic Inc. Wiley is the author of Phonics from A to Z, Teaching Phonics and Phonemic Awareness Activities for Early Reading Success, and other professional books. Wiley believes that reading is a gift that changes a person’s life forever and can never be taken away. That’s why his greatest joy has been teaching children to read.
